Join or Renew IASA for 2014

(Feb 21, 2014)

Dear Friend of IASA,

I am writing to ask that you renew your Italian American Studies Association membership for 2014. Benefits of 2014 membership include a special volume of selected essays based on IASA conference presentations from 2010 to 2012; access to the members-only area of our Website, which will include a members’ bulletin board and access to previous IASA volumes in digital format; and eligibility to present at our annual conference.

Our 2013 conference in New Orleans was yet another of IASA’s first-rate scholarly and social gatherings. Italian American studies is more vibrant than ever, and your participation and support and more vital than ever. In 2014 we will host our 47th annual conference in Toronto, at the University of Toronto, and will prepare for our 2015 conference, which will be held in conjunction with the National Italian American Foundation, in Washington, D. C. These conferences will raise awareness and create an even larger audience for the work we members of IASA do.

Our improved registration process allows you to register through our Website, using a credit card or PayPal (instructions below); or to register by mail. A schedule of 2014 membership fees appears below along and on the form here, which you may also use to join or renew your membership by mail. Please note that we have eliminated the senior membership category, to bring IASA in line with similar associations.

Thanks again for your support and continued interest in the study and creation of our Italian American culture.
