Call for Submissions, 43rd AIHA Conference Volume

We are now accepting submissions for a volume of selected papers from the 43rd annual AIHA conference, "Advocacy and Activism: Italian Heritage and Cultural Change," held inNew York City.

Although the conference included valuable papers on the themes of political and cultural activism and cultural innovation, we will also consider papers on related topics of cross-fertilization and/or milestones in the development of politics, art, education and literature. All papers will be peer reviewed by an editorial advisory committee.

Submit a digital copy of your 15-20 page essay (as a Microsoft Word.doc file), double-spaced (12 pt), with page numbers (no other header) in the upper right of the page, and with endnotes (not footnotes). Papers should be double spaced, with no extra spaces between paragraphs.
Please follow the Chicago Manual or MLA Style and provide appropriate critical apparatus (notes, bibliography, and/or illustrations). On first page please label essays either Literature or Social Science.

Send your submissions to both the volume's editors.
The new deadline for submissions is February 29, 2012.
