Opening Wednesday, March 28 in New York City, La Vita è Cinema: The Films of Nanni Moretti is a comprehensive retrospective of the acclaimed Italian auteur, including all his feature films and two of his short films. The festival opens March 28 with Moretti’s first feature, I am Self Sufficient (1976), and concludes April 8 with a sneak preview of his new film, We Have a Pope. “Perhaps the leading cinematic satirist of our time.” – Andrew Sarris
